Mugwort Mask by I'm From

Known for its soothing and healing properties, Korean Mugwort, also known as ssuk, is slowly taking over the skincare community thanks to its anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial properties which soothe, heal, and nourish the skin.

I'M FROM is a skincare brand that focuses on delivering the beneficial effects of ingredients found in nature directly to the skin. One of the things I love about this brand is how the value transparency by listing all ingredients found on their products, as well as the name of the farm as to where they were harvested, and yes! They're cruelty-free! Their products are not only gentle and effective but also highlight traditional Korean ingredients such as ginseng, fig, etc.

The Mugwort Mask by I'M FROM is a wash-off mask that contains ground mugwort from Ganghwa Island. Its gel formula preserves the active ingredients of the plant and delivers its benefits directly to the skin. This mask is full of vitamins and minerals to soothe irritation. It also contains green bead-like particles which are ground mugwort that helps exfoliate your skin as it soothes.

Upon opening the bottle, the first thing you'll notice is its rich earthy smell which I find relaxing. I use this mask once a week and have been using it for around a month or so. Aside from its earthy smell, which I love, I like how it has small particles that help exfoliate my skin as I'm washing off the mask. I also like how good it feels on my skin—it has cooling effects on the skin upon application which makes my skin feel fresh.  The best thing about this is how refreshed and glowy my skin looks after—my skin feels super moisturized and said goodbye to irritation and redness.

Each kit contains the Mugwort Mask itself, as well as an applicator.

I usually suffer from redness and irritated skin due to the different skincare products I use that contain strong acids such as AHA and BHA. Ever since I've started using this, I saw how my skin has improved—no more redness and I would actually wake up with glowing and moisturized skin. Yes! I no longer wake up to oily skin like I used to.

I highly recommend this product and I would actually purchase this in the future as well. A full-sized bottle at 110g costs $35 and you can purchase yours now from Wishtrend. I think it's actually worth it because a little goes a long way and I've used this 3 times only and I haven't gone near halfway through the bottle yet.

You can use the code MAY10 on Wishtrend to get 10% off your purchase valid within the month of May 2020.

  2. I received the samplers of this in a tube years ago. I love how it cleanses my face mildly. However, not a fan of the earthy smell. I don't know. Perhaps it's just me but I dislike it.

  3. As long as it's cruelty-free and good for sensitive skin, it's a yes for me! I might try it once I finish my current sugar mask from Skinfood.
