Clay masks are one of the essential steps in my skincare routine. Not only do they give your skin promising results, but they're also very fun and relaxing to use. Being an avid skincare user, I've tried multiple clay masks in the past, and here are three of the clay masks I love.
"This hydrating, cleansing mask harnesses the natural benefits of clay, it helps remove impurities without drying, infusing moisture and nutrients into skin as it attracts dirt and oil from your pores."—from Erno Laszlo Website
I've been using this once a week and I super love the effects of this mask—it's super hydrating and makes my skin look radiant after usage. It's also effective in cleaning my pores because I felt how smooth my skin felt after using this mask. It's also cost-efficient because one bottle lasted me almost 5 months despite using it once a week.
Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay (Php 525)
"AZTEC SECRET INDIAN HEALING CLAY is bentonite clay from Death Valley, California, where it is sun-dried for up to six months in temperatures that sometimes reach 134 degrees. It Deeply cleanses the pore with 100% natural calcium bentonite clay"—from Aztec Secret website
This product has become popular these past few years—and for good reason! Best paired with apple cider vinegar, this product is highly effective at cleaning the pores as well as lightening dark spots. I used to use this twice a weak due to my dark spots and acne and I've seen how my dark spots have significantly lightened.
Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay ($26 / Php 1,300)
"A two-in-one purifying mask that draws out impurities and gently exfoliates to refine skin’s texture and boost radiance."—from Sephora
To be honest, I purchased this because it was pink—I saw it near Sephora's counter and thought it looked cute so I purchased it. What I didn't know was that it was going to be a new favorite mask to add to my skincare routine. I used this every week and I super love how it gives my skin a nice glow after washing with warm water. It also evens out my skin's texture leaving me with smooth skin.

Girl, I swear by Origins'rose clay mask! I remember I first bought a sample size of it at SM Makati. I really sat down and tested it as their saleslady is very accommodating. That would be my fave mask if it is cheaper! hehe
